Wondershare DemoCreator makes it shockingly easy to capture everything that happens on your computer screen, including audio, and create software tutorials, demos, and online instructional videos.

As a screen recording software DemoCreator is so intuitive, all it takes is 4 simple steps to produce a polished final demo: prepare your script, record your on screen activities as slides, edit your recording with animated objects, and publish your recording.

To start, choose to record an application window, a region of your desktop, or the entire screen. Hit record, and off you go! Once you're finished capturing, you can enhance your presentation with music, narration, annotations, images, interactive elements, and animations.

The result is a repeatable, consistent, quality demonstration that your customers, employees, or colleagues can view at their own pace, and which conveys a greater knowledge and understanding of your product.

Using Wondershare DemoCreator, your demos can be formatted as Adobe Flash (SWF) files that can be integrated into HTML and displayed on a website, or you can create AVI files that are easily uploaded to the most popular video sharing portals. You can even create standalone executable files that are small enough to be sent via email or burned to a CD!

What's more, Wondershare DemoCreator includes comprehensive support for publishing training courses with AICC/SCORM (1.2 & 2004) compliance for Moodle, WebCT, SharePoint, and Blackboard!

To sum it up, DemoCreator provides one of the best and easy-to-use ways to record, edit, output, and share spectacular video demos!

Gunderic Hagen I bought this software here, years ago. In my judgment it is likely the best demo creator I know of, in this price category. I have two questions:

1) Updates are free for the life of the product. Where/how do I get the latest update?

2) Do you have available a professional version? If yes, What is the cost to upgrade?

Thanks!

Stefan Hauber Your Website says: The current version is not fully compatible with Windows 7. Windows 7 users, please download the free trial before purchase.

What is expected not to work in win7?

I suppose the same is for Win8.

Are you working on an update for win7/win8/win9 (or is it abandoned)?
If yes, will it be free for todays buyers?

I just downloaded the demo and started it on my win7/x64-system (without doing anything yet) and it started without any omplaints and at first impression it looks quite good.

Ricky Rick On the website it says as far as System Requirements -- "Make sure your system is running 32 bit". Therefore if you have Win 7 - 64 bit - you may run into problems - but maybe not.

Too bad it's not a TRUE 64 Bit program or I may have bought it.

Gunderic Hagen I don't work for Wondershare and I certainly cannot provide any guarantee. Having said that, I will say I run it on my Windows 7/64 computer without a problem.

Jerry S Why would any publisher still be offering a product incompatible with the two most recent versions of Windows?

Ricky Rick @Gunderic Hagen -- I have 32 bit programs that run just fine on my Win 7 Pro 64 bit -- and other 32 bit programs that won't work. I was just trying to point out that the "publisher of the software" makes a point about having a 32 bit OS.

And like you said - it works on your 64 bit OS without a problem - so - likely it would "probably" work on a 64 bit OS.

But even if it would run fine on my 64 bit OS - I wouldn't want to run it because I have 32 GB of RAM and 32 bit software will only allow you to take advantage of 4 GB of RAM regardless if you have 100 GB of RAM.

Another downside -- this program is for video -- and editing of that video - plus rendering that video which would take forever (almost 8-)) on a 32 bit OS whereas if it was a true 64 bit software program renders would be in minutes or seconds depending on video length compared to maybe hours on a 32 bit software even in a high-end machine due to the fact it is 32 bit. Ok - I'm done blathering ...

Don Goddard After you create a demo does it save as a proprietary file that can be reloaded and edited later, or can you only publish them in the formats listed on the website?

Hawkeye FYI, I did some some testing and I did not have any issues running with Windows 7, SP1 x64. I created several videos and they all worked as expected.

@Ricky Rick, What you stated is not entirely true. Windows 32 bit programs running on a Windows 64bit is actually limited to 2GB by default, not 4GB. They have to be a specifically compiled EXE to be handle 4GB on 64bit system. Google "IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE" to find out more. I have found a program that will supposedly patch a 32bit EXE to have it access 4GB of memory on a 64bit system. Do NOT patch an EXE, if you are running a 32bit system. I'm including a link to the article that discusses it, basically for reference. Use it at your own risk. I have NOT tested it as yet. I only plan on using it if really need it, as I will assume, newer 32bit EXE's would have this feature already. Contact the EXE's vendor, to confirm, if you are not sure. -- http://www.maketecheasier...64-bit-os/

@Don Goddard, I guess you didn't install the trial version. Yes, you can save your video/project to the default WDC file. It can be reloaded and edited later with no problems.
