Do you ever wonder what your PC users are up to when you're not around? Have you experienced a breach of trust so severe that you stay awake at night, worrying about what people may be getting into on your computers? Are you concerned that your children might be engaging in dangerous internet activities?

Elite Keystroke Recorder monitors and records every detail of PC and Internet activity on any computer where it's installed! Everything is fair game for Elite Keystroke Recorder -- chats, instant messages, e-mails, browsing history, keystrokes, applications, passwords, usernames, clipboard activity, and so much more! Best of all, Elite Keystroke Recorder is completely invisible and won't even be picked up by antivirus apps!

As impressed as you are RIGHT NOW with Elite Keystroke Recorder, it gets even better! Just plug in a USB drive that you've specially-formatted for this surveillance occasion, and BOOM, all of those lovely logs are sucked out of the PC and onto the drive -- for your reading pleasure at your convenience! You can also configure Elite Keystroke Recorder to automatically email the logs to you at your undisclosed location, or upload them to an FTP site!

W Piriz I see the retail price of $99 on vendor website is for two licenses which is being discounted here to $24.95. So I presume we get two licenses here?

Are the two licenses transferable to any machine I own, once I stop monitoring my kids machine and uninstall from it? Should be OK, as the person remains the same!

A. Goyal EK does not support 64 bit yet. If I buy today, am I entitled to 64 bit version when released and future updates for free?

Amy White Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I'm from Widestep Security Software - we are the developers of Elite Keylogger. So, thanks for your interest in our software and please, find the answers below:

@ W Piriz -
In fact, we have two editions of Elite Keylogger - Standard (compatible with Windows 2000 and XP) and PRO (compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and 7).
We are going to sell single license of PRO edition - which costs $99, not 2 licenses pack of Standard Edition which costs $99 also. HTH!:)

@ Ash Smith -
Yes, you are right, 64-bit edition is currently in development, and will be added in the next upcoming build. In case the next upgrade will be major, you will have 50% discount for upgrading (as a registered user), in case of minor upgrade, you will get this new version for free - minor updates are free for registered users.

A. Goyal @Amy, Thanks. Are the licenses transferable to any machine I own? i.e. once I stop
monitoring my kids machine and uninstall the s/w, can I re-install on another machine that I now wish to monitor?

Amy White @ W Piriz - Hi again:) Concerning the license you will get at BitsDuJour, as I said before, we are sellind single license of Elite Keylogger PRO, and according to our License Policy, single license grants you a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to download, install and internally use the Software Product on a single PC . This Software Product can be utilized only by the personthis Software Product is registered to . This license cannot be sharedor used concurrently by different individuals. Each individual mustpurchase a separate license for the Software Product to use it. And concerning our blog - we are going to launch the new one soon. In fact, all this time we were very busy with improving Elite Keylogger and simply had no time enough to post any articles, sorry:) Anyway, thanks for your interest in our software!

Jon Koerner On the website it says "Recompiled daily to stay invisible to antiviruses".

Does this mean that a user would need to re-download the installer daily and re-install it, in order to keep it invisible to antiviruses?

Stan @Jon Koerner: I think the daily recompiled installer is a nice feature from the developers but to keep the keylogger invisible you have to configure the installed security software to prevent it's detection.

John Gowling Why does the program need EK to view its log files? I installed EK (paid version) on a computer that I no longer have access to it. So do I need another license of EK to just view the logs sent to me via email?

W Piriz @Amy Thanks Amy for license info. So let me clarify, "License allows me to uninstall and re-install on another PC using the same key, as long as I am the original user and do not use it on more than one PC's concurrently?" On another note, If I install on a PC that I dont have access to it any more (PC is sold and I have no need to monitor it anymore), can I install the s/w on my new computer and hopefully the old installation will get voided when it sees the same serial number re-used? I hope s/w is smart enough to do it silently in stealth mode on older PC? There is no information out there, hence lot of questions today before I buy a license. Thanks

W Piriz I am surprised that BDJ community is very silent on this s/w review!! Aren't there any users who could see benefit of this s/w or are you guys using another s/w that you are happy with? Appreciate more feedback in this forum.

Stan @ John Gowling : I think you can install the Log viewer only without getting another registered version (but I never tested it). @W Piriz: I still use another one but some featuers of EKL sounds interesting so that I'll try it. @ Amy White: Is there a feature to auto-remove EKL at a given time? I haven't found something about in your help file.

Amy White @ Jon Koerner - We highly recommend to update your Elite keylogger version every 3-7 days (when purchasing Elite keylogger, along with registration details you are getting the link at a special build, so, please, use this link for updating your version). @ John Gowling - No, you do not need one more license for viewing logs. One license of Elite Keylogger lets you install it on 1 computer for monitoring purposes (in Visible or Invisible mode); and you can use the same license to read the logs you might receive via email or FTP, or else, on any number of other computers (Elite Keylogger should be installed as a Logs Viewer). If you need to monitor more computers, we have greatly priced license packs. Check the product's homepage. @ W Piriz - If you have the license, you can move it between several computers as long as the total number of monitored computers does not exceed the number of licenses you own. And what about the second part of your question which starts with "On another note" - here is the reply - This cannot be handled automatically in any way. We won't ever implement this functionality as you described it. Probably, in future, there will be a way to control Elite Keylogger remotely via emails, netsend's, etc, but not now. BTW, our blog is now alive:) Read freash news about Elite Keylogger here http://key-logger.blogspot.com/ @ Stan Lewis - This option will be added in one of forthcoming releases - stay with us and our blog!:) @ Ash Smith - Please, contact me directly at widestep.market @ gmail.com

W Piriz Well the s/w failed when it came to Stealth settings!! EKL gives clear instructions on the screen after an install as to how to access it. I was installing it using remote access to a machine which froze after the install so I lost remote access. The employee next day when he turned on the pc, the EKL instructions were clear in their face that they were being monitored. So much for the stealth nature of the software!!! AN APPEAL TO THE DEVELOPERl, why can't you put these instructions in a readme file as part of the install rather than showing a screen at boot time? The s/w would be so much better and trustworthy if such screen remained hidden after the reboot/install.

Amy White Unfortunately, there's not much we can do if you couldn't complete the installation via remote desktop. There could be hundreds of reasons for a PC to freeze, and we can't provide any further recommendations without the details from you. Please feel free to send us an email to supportwidestep.com
