Wiz Wizard @Mark Lassoff

There are missing js2.zip and js3.zip from the 3rd section of the course. Although on the user comments section of the course site are complains due these missing files from about 6 months ago, still no one fix this problem.

Mark Lassoff I am happy to double check, and if these files are missing, we'll make sure they are put up on the platform.

However, we've had well over 5,000 people through this course without complaint.

We also provide several customer service outlets if there is some type of problem that can get any problem rectified quickly.

Thanks!

Quill Pen Recv'd reg info highlighted in yellow on email.
Then clicked on Instructions below that - "Please click here to enroll in the course!"
That took me to an intro/synopsis page and another ENROLL in Course button.
Clicked that and it hops to a page that offers 3 options at the top-
"Create New Account"
Login and
Forgot Password

Clicking Create New Account does nothing.

Is it possible that the "create new account" link is redundant and unintuitively leaves me on that page (where there happens to be "Sign UP for the LearnToProgram" input fields below), or are there cookies I'm blocking that disrupt the navigation that should take me to yet another page so I can create a new account strictly for this course I've chosen via Bits?

Quill Pen Hi Mark,
Managed to get in (never had need for the registration number... will that have to be used for something else besides viewing the tut videos?)
Much to my dismay, your embedded video player limits to a tiny window OR a full screen display, no intermediate Firefox browser window-size to suit my needs. Not really sure how we're supposed to follow along (and do our own mirror editing as you suggested in part 1) and take notes and multi-task when the choice is unreadable text on the tiny screen or a video hogging the full monitor. :((
FWIW, the workaround is to use the FF downloadhelper plugin. \o/
Granted, the results are blurry (I guess these were shot at low rez to reduce bandwidth?) and I have to relabel the generic file names for ease of use, but at least I can view them at my leisure offline,.and can choose the size of the screen so I can do other work alongside. I usually have 20 browser windows and several applications running simultaneously.
Thanks for the chance to try your training class.

Mark Lassoff We usually recommend two screens to maximize engagement... But I realize that's not always possible.

Quill Pen Two screens? As in a dual monitor setup? giggles Would be nice, but alas, we're relying on BitsDuJour cause we're poor as church meeses.
If I take over hubby's PC he'd never get any work done... and besides, my arms won't reach.

FWIW, I did determine why the page displayed 2 completely different ways. One browser window was just a little smaller than the other, apparently just enough to cause formatting to default to a columnar view. I already knew different browsers will often display pages differently, wasn't aware of page width sensitivity.

Eric Shapiro Is this course fully accessible to deaf people? If there is any video for this course, are the videos fully captioned or subtitled? If there are any podcasts, are they made fully accessible to deaf people, such as through a complete transcript being made available?

Carolyn Donner I have signed up for this course but get no e-mail telling me how to get the course. I've had it resent 3 times and still no e-mail. I do not have a spam folder to look at, so it has to be in the inbox but it never arrives.

Constantin Florea I am sorry about the issues. I have just tested the sign up flow again using Chrome and everything seems to work fine. I suggest clearing the browser cache and trying to sign up again. Using another browser is also a good idea. After signing up, I noticed that the page I see is the one with the course lessons and the associated Start buttons.

We have also contacted the vendor to help with each of the above issues.

Joe Goncalves I guess you guys does not check your own website even though this site is to learn web development.

There are complaining about those "Attachment" links since 5 months ago and it still not being fixed.

And in here since Yesterday we have many people complaining for the something and again still no solution.

I or we are very grateful for your offer but it should work well not only because of us but most important it is your image.

Presiding Chaplain for Vibrant Life and Successors When I attempt to participate in this fine offer, the BDJ software informs me that I cannot, because I have already gotten Zoner Photo Studio 15 PRO. Now, while that is indeed the case, I'm not quite sure why it is relevant. :):)

Perhaps you can help?

Thank you kindly,

Constantin Florea @Presiding Chaplain for Vibrant Life and Successors - I assume that you have at least two items in the shopping cart: Zoner Photo Studio 15 PRO and
Introduction to Web Development. If so, please remove
Zoner Photo Studio 15 PRO so that only Introduction to Web Development remains in the shopping cart, then you should be able to continue with the purchase flow.
