H. H. Hallo,'
I've the following question: is it possible to access and use the phrases directly frome the tree-menu via double-click , drag and rop or something similiar? I bought phrase express some years ago, but when having stored a greater amount of phrases, the right-click menu was not comfortable enought, and took to long, to faccess the phrases. What I mean is really the ability to take a phrase directly form the tree, not putting floating menus at the desktop. The handling of many phrases would be much more comfotable when the phrase coul be taken from a database- tee-structure (tree similiar to windows explorer).
If this feature still isn't available, would it be implemented net time?

Bartels Media GmbH Hello HH,

PhraseExpress does not allo drag & drop of phrases as we reserved the drag & drop feature to allow you to export phrase folders. However, you can quickly access the phrases from the task tray icon or by defining a hotkey to any desired folder.

Bob Dorris Be Careful. This is NOT Phrase Express, even though that product is referenced repeatedly in the advertisment.

It is Phrase Express "Easy", which has only a fraction of the functionality of Phrase Express.

Phrase Organizer functions:

Phrase items can be organized in categories including sub-categories.
Phrases can be inserted system-wide in any Windows application such as MS Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, Thunderbird, database frontends, Skype, MSN, ICQ, Opera, Firefox, InternetExplorer, etc.
Phrases can be inserted by...
o selecting the phrase from a task tray icon popup menu
o Popup menu next to the cursor
o Hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts)
o Autotext (text abbreviations)
Text snippets can include HTML-, RTF-formatting and .JPG, .PNG. .BMP und .TIFF bitmap images.

Data Security

We invested major efforts and use industry-leading mechanisms to protect your personal data:
All PhraseExpress related program and installation files are digitally signed, assuring program integrity and the source of origin.
The phrase file is securely AES encrypted.
The XML phrase file structure is scanned for integrity when being loaded.
File saving is secured by creating a shadow copy before saving the final phrase file to prevent data loss in case of fatal shut-down.
PhraseExpress automatically keeps a backup file of the last changes.
