I believe, it should be offered lower here.

Tsvetan Marinkinski @Adolphe: The price of the portable version you mentioned on our website is after the 50% discount that we are currently offering. It doesn't lack anything compared to the standard version in terms of features. As explained, the standard version is licenses per computer, whereas the portable is licensed per user. Per computer means that many users can use it, as long as it is the same device. Per user means that the program can be used on unlimited number of computers, but only by one person and not simultaneously.

@geo User: Once activated, the portable version should not have a problem being run under different operating systems on the same computer or in virtual machines. Simply copy the folder containing the activated program to all operating systems.

@A Bridg: At this point we can say that in version 4 there will be new modules/components, and that all exsiting modules and features will be improved.

Adolphe Constantin, thanks for looking it up. All my comments have been published by now. However, at the moment I mentioned this, my comment starting with @ Portables Fan had not yet been published, despite other comments having gone through moderation after I had sent it (such as "A Bridg - 4.38 pm"). Hence my suspicion that maybe some comments don't bubble up for the moderator to decide about them in a timely fashion.

Tsvetan Marinkinski @Adolphe: Yes, the portable version is in a way a "technician" license, as it has been designed primarily for people working in the IT sector who need to always have a copy with them wherever they go.
We are not sure we have understood why all computers would need to have the same set of software.

The portable version does have the option to add items to the context menu, however because it is portable the option is disabled by default, and needs to be explicitly enabled. This can be done from the options: Tools -> Options -> Show commands in Windows context menu -> OK.

J S I rarely use an Uninstaller even though I bought MULTiPLE Revo Pro v3 Licenses (which I don't think I've even installed) and later on I a Purchased Revo Pro PORTABLE too!.

If you look at comment Feb 28, 2017 'commentId=128425' the last version of the Portable I believe I downloaded was either v3.17 or v3.18

I am only a Genuine Home User and I am now an old aged pensioner. At various times I have had up to 4 computers running in my house. However for the Last 3 Years, I have only been using 1 computer - as the other pc's died (hard drives expired).

BUT when REVO offer it, I saw the logic of buying the Version 3.x PORTABLE release, Heck I have NEVER used the PORTABLE Version EVER.

Then some time later You announced that REVO were going to release version 4 which was then delayed but at that time there was no mention of a new 'drip-feed payment' licensing scheme.

I checked my email and I was NEVER advised that version 4 had finally been released - so I suppose I MiSSED ANY UPGRADE to v4.x DEALS, that REVO may (or may not) have offered EXiSTiNG USER's.

QUESTiON:
Can you please advise me what the final version 3.?? release(s) were for BOTH 1. iNSTALLER & 2. PORTABLE Versions, and also advise me where I can download those final v3.x releases.

I can supply you my Order Details if you want to check my bonafides (that I'm being geniune).

I presume that Bits du Jour reveal Commenter or User eMAiL Addresses to REVO, so if You would prefer to reply privately to my email address, instead of replying here I will understand. (You/REVO may not want to reveal Software URL's here)

Jason Howard For users who purchased Revo Portable and 1 or 2 years upgrades, which have since expired (but continue to use their lifetime license), is there a special option to just purchase another period of upgrades without being forced to pay for an additional license? I am sure I'm not alone in having a lifetime license and wanting to only purchase another period of updates.

Constantin Florea @paulpraveen23 User, We did have a 67% discount approximately 4 weeks ago for this title but these high discounts only last a few days. After they end, the lower (EveryDay) deal discount takes its place.

There is no guarantee that we can bring a discount back at the same amount it was in the past but it is possible. Our reschedule period varies per title, 3, 6, 9 even 12 months can pass until a title is rescheduled with the high discount.

Brenda Adams Wondering which to buy...need 1 per user...but PORTABLE or ?? Don't quite understand differences, other than that portable requires no installation. Where to store the portable is my other question...is it intended to store in some backup program or tool and NOT on 1 of users computer hardrives? Thank you. The Installable and Portable versions of our software are the same in terms of features and functionality.

The main difference between them is the type of licensing.

The Installable version has a license that is per computer. This means that a license is purchased for a certain amount of computers, but any user who uses those computers is also allowed to use Revo Uninstaller Pro.

The Portable version has a license per user. This means that one user is allowed to use Revo Uninstaller Pro on unlimited number of computers (just not simultaneously).
Please note that the Portable version is not designed to be activated separately on each computer, on which it will be used. It is designed to be activated once, then moved to a USB flash drive, and used directly from there on any computer.
If the computers, on which you plan on using Revo Uninstaller Pro Portable, are owned by you, and you will be the only person using Revo Uninstaller Pro, then you can simply activate once, and then copy the folder containing the activated program to the remaining devices.
