David Martin I followed the instructions on BitsDuJour to get this with a 100% Discount the other day when the deal was available, and "Liked" Softtote on my Facebook page, but then the attempt to download/order it need functioned.... there was that spinning icon for more than 30 minute, so I finally moved on and did something else.

How can I get this now? I notice now that I am not the only one who was unable to download it, but the advice given above to go to your site and download it wants to charge $ 39.95 instead of the 100% discount that was offered for liking you on Facebook

Constantin Florea @David Martin - In order for our system to assign you a free registration code, you must go through the checkout process after you like the Facebook pages (ours and the vendor's). Instead of liking the Facebook pages, you could answer the questions inside the questionnaire and then go through the checkout process at the end of which a receipt email will be sent to you containing the registration information. But all this should be done while the promotion is active. After the promotion ends, we (BitsDujour) are no longer allowed to (and our system cannot) assign you a free registration code.

In some situations there is indeed a problem when clicking on the Get It For Free button in the sense that the spinning icon is shown and stays there. We believe this is because of the various add-ons/extensions you may have installed in your browser. Disabling all those add-ons/extensions may solve the issue but another simpler way is to try one of the other browsers: IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari which you are not using very much because the chances are that for those browsers there aren't any (or many) add-ons/extensions installed.

David Martin Well I did all the things you suggested while the promotion was active and still all I got was the spinning icon. It was annoying enough to have to "like" this company on Fcebook... I am a big enemy of Facebook use, but I diid it. Now you are telling me that the company... which recognizes there is a problem with the spinning icon... won't do anything to fix it. Anyway I am not willing to install and clutter up my system with unneeded and unwanted garbage browsers, just to get some free program, so I guess I will just unlike this company and not use their products either free or paid.

David Martin Dear Sky Ling,

I do appreciate your concern. I was able to download it using the link you provided in your message above. However the underlying problem is that I never received a code. In the past when I got software from BItsDuJour I would receive an email with a link to click to download the software and a separate email with the Registration Key or code for the software.... or maybe the download link is in the Registration Code email... I can't remember for sure.

Anyway in this case you were supposed to first Like SoftTote on Facebook and then download the software. I did Like SoftTote on my Facebook account, but then when I tried to download it I just got the eternally spinning icon and it didn't download but also moe importantly I didn't receive any email with the code in it. So I have downloaded it just now with the link you provided, but I don't have any code with which to install it!

As for Facebook likes, it is the usual way Bitsdujour does. The rule to get giveaway software is to like Facebook. So, you need to do as the rule. Anyway, thanks for all the things you do!
