Bill Sech I was able to test an evaluation of the latest version 10. I have been able to overcome most of the recurrence task glitches that I had been experiencing with earlier versions. There are a lot of good features in this program. I would recommend the latest version if you are the type that doesn't mind yearly subscriptions.

Metta Zetty (1) Are sub-tasks available in the Home Version? The description above mentions sub-tasks being available in a "Pro" version, but I thought the "Pro" designation disappeared when you shifted to your current subscription business model.

(2) What is the difference between STDL "Yearly" and "Mini"? Haven't heard of STDL "Mini" before, and with a quick search, I could find no additional details.

Admin of P.S.T Why can I run it on Windows 10? Try to run many times and nothing happens! :D
Any assistance?

RichU Same problem. Not running on Win10. Shows splash screen, but nothing else. Oddly, Swift-to-do list had been installed previously and worked.
The biggest lack in the basic version is the lack of sub-tasks and customizable field names. I just want the field to read "calls" "emails", etc. Much less useful to me without this and subtasks

MojoMan I've almost bought this on previous BDJ offers many times, but I guess I won't be now. Quite a price hike... personal yearly is more than the pro version used to be for the full license. I guess I should have bought it then... will probably be buying EssentialPIM or Vueminder which offer lifetime license for much less than 1 year sub to mini... let alone Pro. They may not have all the features of STD but they have most/similar features (notes, tasks, events, reminders, alerts, email integration etc) and some that STD doesn't.

Dextronet Metta, no, subtasks aren't in the home version. It's true that the lesser versions are no longer sold, are subscriptions are the "ultimate" edition.

The Mini plan is for teams, it can be used for up to 5 users. The features are the same.

Dextronet Admin of P.S.T & RichU, perhaps you could drop an email to our support address. STDL should work on STDL 10. Do you see the process running? Perhaps your .NET Framework could be damaged, or the process is blocked by your anti-virus.

Dextronet MoJoMan, the yearly Personal subscription allows you to install STDL (Ultimate) on an unlimited number of computers. The Ultimate 1-User-3-PC Pack was previously $195. So I believe the subscription is actually much better deal.

Also if you decide not to renew your subscription after the first year, you get to use the currently installed version of STDL for as long as you wish (offline).

Admin of P.S.T Thank Jiri Novothy for the reply. Actually I try running this software in Windows 10 Edu version 1703 (Virtual machine 1 - VM1, VMWare) because I am using public computer (cilent - server). In the VM, I saw the process running (with the hip CPU and disk usage) but after that it terminated itself.
When I try running it on Windows 10 Edu version 1607 (VM2), it ran very well. Perhaps I haven't installed enough .NET or VC++ in the VM1
---
(Updated) I have tried installing it on my Real Machine - Windows 10 Edu v1703 (latest updates installed) => It runs very well! :D
My real machine uses Intel Core i3-4030U ~ 1,9 GHz, while the VM uses Intel Pentium CPU G2120 3.10GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.1GHz. I think it may be the problem that make STDL not run well. Moreover, .Net (old included) has been installed enough on my real, while only .Net 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 is installed in my VM.

For me, the program runs well. For RichU, I don't know exactly what problems he meet. I think he should re-install the program 1 more time, make sure you have installed enough .Net or VC++, use Event Viewer to define the errors.

Thank BDJ and Dextronet for this giveaway! :D

PS: I am just an average PC user! :D

Petr @Jiri and prospective customers for Swift To-Do List, my unsolicited comments: The user interface is fantastic. I find this to be the most feature rich To-Do List app. For me, any program I buy for personal productivity management MUST have a mobile app that syncs the data while still operational without WiFi or Internet (must have a local database and sync features). Swift does the trick. I'm running Swift on Windows 10 Pro without any problems.

Only feature I really, really miss is the ability to sync with my Gmail account(s). Swift's calendar is not much use without the ability to sync with my Google Calendar. My request of Jiri, the developers, is to add the ability to sync with Google Calendar. Thanks.
