In your office, you are known as the Excel King. This is because, out of everyone who has ever even launched Excel, you are the only person who can read, edit, and manage those huge formulas that seem to go on and on and on. It's your job security -- just make sure that your bosses never get wind of The Formulator!

The Formulator is an add-in for Microsoft Excel that makes long, complex formulas easier to read, edit, and manage. By indenting and separating function arguments, The Formulator makes it crystal clear for anyone to understand and digest complex formula logic in a spreadsheet! No more getting lost in the middle of a formula, no more fear of irreparably screwing up the spreadsheet!

No matter what language or font is used in your Excel spreadsheet,The Formulator will make quick work out of any formula it finds, no matter how long, with no effect whatsoever on calculation results. Advanced Excel users have had to manually format their formulas to make them comprehensible for years -- but now, the power is YOURS to wield!

bvssunnydale Hi, I purchased and, after half a dozen downloads, discovered that it seems to be downloading but the moment it finishes (or finishes as much as it's going to finish) the file disappears from the computer. It appears in the download queue of the browser but immediately disappears from the computer [again, have done this multiple times to confirm]. There's a glitch somewhere. FURTHER EXPERIMENTING reveals that Norton is labeling this as malware and deleting it immediately after download - so is this malware?

Richard User Is this by any chance able to be used with PlanMaker, the SoftOffice spreadsheet?

bvssunnydale Hi, I do wish it was more prominently featured that it ONLY works with the 32-bit version of Excel (like most moderns I have the 64-bit). I'm having trouble requesting a refund as the "Contact" page only opens my email account but doesn't provide an email address to contact the company. How do I request a refund? Thanks much.

Greg Lovern Hi vbsunnydale, The Formulator is not malware. I don't know why Norton is doing that on your computer.

Regarding a refund, at this point BitsDuJour has not paid me, so there is nothing for me to refund. I would suggest contacting BitsDuJour for a refund.

Thanks,

Greg Lovern

Greg Lovern Hi Richard User, sorry, The Formulator is not compatible with PlanMaker, the Soft Office spreadsheet.

PlanMaker looks interesting and I see that it can be automated with macros, so I would like to look into making my add-ins compatible with it when time allows, but I'm not sure when that will be.

Thanks,

Greg Lovern

Ela S. "Although The Formulator works with 32-bit Excel 2010, 2013, & 2016, it will need to be updated for 64-bit Excel 2010, 2013, & 2016"

So how and when? Running Excel 2013 64-bit.

Seems to be a most helpful add-in for me. Wanna be the Excel Queen ;-)

Greg Lovern Hi Ela,

Most of the coding is done on the upgrade that will make my add-ins compatible with 64-bit Excel. But my time available to work on it is limited.

Thanks,

Greg Lovern

John User Bitsdujour, after I purchased this product I was warned of the following:

"Please note that for this promotion the vendor has chosen to send the registration information manually. Please expect a delay of up to 72 hours until you receive the registration information by email."

I understand that some vendors may be very small, even one-man bands, so to speak, and these may find it challenging to keep up with the demand from a Bits promotion. But the warning really should have been stated up front, so that I could make a more informed purchase (or possibly not purchase, knowing this). I'm not accustomed to buying digital software and having to wait several days before receiving the license.

I'm about halfway in on 72 hours of waiting, and no license yet. I don't want a refund, but I'm not really too pleased about the delay.

Greg Lovern Hi John User,

I'm working my way through the sales. It's just me, and I have a day job and 3 young kids.

I compile the license name and number into each copy, which provides protection against hacking (there is nothing to hack this way) but does take longer.

Sorry it takes some time, I'll get through it as soon as I can. This is why I don't do BitsDuJour promotions often (it's been 6 years since my last one), because the demand is very high for my time available and people don't like waiting.

Thanks,

Greg Lovern

John User @Greg Lovern, 6 years is a very long time between promotions! I'm glad I caught this one, then. Good luck getting through all of the purchases...
