LR User I am quite computer literate and yet I have found this abylon BACKUP-TUBE impossible for me to use. Sorry! I have uninstalled the software.

CJCotter I have a program that changes the manila icons of Windows folders. While your program copies the hidden .ico and .ini files by which the folder appearance is changed, it does NOT carry over the changed folder attributes. Your program returns the copied folders back to their manila appearance. (My OS is Windows 7). Can't use this. Uninstalled.

Thomas Klabunde Hi, Thanks for the inquiries.

@Mr B. For encryption, we recommend the combination with one of our decryption programs, such as the container solution abylon CRYPTDRIVE (http://www.bitsdujour.com...yptdrive-2) or, alternatively, the auto-encryption abylon CRYPTin the BOX (http://www.bitsdujour.com...e-box-2013).

@LR User: Would be happy if you describe us, what problems you had. Pls write a comment on our homepage.

@CJCotter: Our software performs a backup on a file basis. System information for folders is not saved. I will discuss your point with our development.

Kevin User How has this deal already expired? This is happening to me every day now. Starting to think that BitsDuJour is just a scam to get your email address as all of the 100% free deals expire before I can get to them. This deal arrived at 5.05 am GMT (10 hours ago) and it has already expired. Not gonna bother with this anymore, happens every day!

Kevin User Oh and it still shows in the main email as 100% free and available but once you post a comment, the "I Want This" button changes to "Buy Now". SCAM!

Thomas Klabunde Hi @Sherry Veinot and @Kevin User,
Sorry for the problems. I think BitsDuJour will find a solution for this problem in the future.
Unlike some other discount portals, BitsduJour.com is one of the fairest deal offer sites.

Mr Dave Just curious, what is the significance of "TUBE" in the program's title?

Can't tell from their website or program description here, can I choose what gets backed up and where it goes? Can I have multiple backup jobs for different sources and/or destinations? Can I exclude some files from the backup process by specifying one or more file extensions or subfolder names? Will this allow me to keep more than one version of files with specified extensions, or from specific subfolders, or perhaps everything within a given backup job?

I use a program from many years ago that does all I need very quickly when it runs, but it has a steep learning curve and I don't know if it works with Win 10. Willing to try Backup-Tube, thanks!

Thomas Klabunde Hi Dave,
Thank you for your interest in our software.
To your questions: The with the name is for me in English not so easy to explain. The backup is just like a tube in one direction or the other.

Of course, several backup jobs can be created. In principle, there is no restriction on the number.
Otherwise, the software is simple and clear. You can select the start and destination directory and the mode (manual or automatic, backup or synchronization). Everything else is done in the background.

FYI, we offer the software during the promotion for private users at no charge. Further questions or suggestions or wishes are always welcome.

could you describe the problem in more detail? What did you do and where did the mistake come from? In such cases screenshots are always very helpful.

Kenneth Bates I have been waiting for this but, on downloading, I found that the latest version of M.S. Edge blocked the program. The reason being that it could open the door for malware.

Do you have any comment to make about this?

Heidi-Ann Kennedy-Fourkiller @Ken Anytime you run a program that can sync / connect to other computers you have that possibility. That is what a good firewall and an AV / AM is for. . . not MS Edge to decide. Download with another browser or a download MGR.

Kenneth Bates Thanks for the comment. I went back to BDJ and tried to download again using the link there but I got a reply saying that I had already bought it once. Then I went to my downloads and found that they had all been cancelled. Microsoft must be on steroids or double time for Sundays!
Shall be trying again, using the download facility which usually appears along with the acknowledgment of order.

Thank you

John User I have tried a number of Abylon programs and generally they are useful excellent programs. I did have a few problems getting this one as my AV software kept rejecting the download/install so I had to disable the AV. Then, it would not accept the Name and Key, but I used the one given above and it activated. However, when I tried to use the desktop icon to start the program it would not start. Restarting my computer solved that problem and now everything seems to be working. Another useful program from Abylon. Thank you.

Mar 8 2022 at 12:44pm Copy Link

Constantin Florea @Reinhold Rensen, If we do publish the registration name here then all customers who see the message will bypass the purchase flow and this means we will not be able to get their email address. The reason we run giveaways is so that we can get the email addresses of the participating customers and then we would use those email addresses to send those customers email message with our daily deals.

Anyone who receives our email messages can unsubscribe from receiving those email messages either by using the Unsubscribe links in the email messages themselves or by emailing us at notify@bitsdujour.com asking us to unsubscribe their email address.

I just sent you the new registration information.

Reinhold Rensen @Constantin Florea I Know and that’s understandable but if you send out a confirmation mail with wrong registration information (so many people that are unable to register is not “normal”), what shall we do?

Constantin Florea @Reinhold Rensen, At times this type of issues (registration issues) does happen but we always monitor the comments section of a promotion page to help out our users with any issues the may have regarding a promotion. We did that in this case as well.

Besides the comments section, the other fast way through which our users can ask us about any issues they have is by email: notify@bitsdujour.com

We give these (the comments section and the email messages) the highest priority in addressing/replying.

I actually resent you the correct registration information earlier today (approximately 3 hours ago). If you haven't received it just let me know and I will resend it to you again.
