CJCotter I have a program that changes the manila icons of Windows folders. While your program copies the hidden .ico and .ini files by which the folder appearance is changed, it does NOT carry over the changed folder attributes. Your program returns the copied folders back to their manila appearance. (My OS is Windows 7). Can't use this. Uninstalled.

Kevin User How has this deal already expired? This is happening to me every day now. Starting to think that BitsDuJour is just a scam to get your email address as all of the 100% free deals expire before I can get to them. This deal arrived at 5.05 am GMT (10 hours ago) and it has already expired. Not gonna bother with this anymore, happens every day!

Mr Dave Just curious, what is the significance of "TUBE" in the program's title?

Can't tell from their website or program description here, can I choose what gets backed up and where it goes? Can I have multiple backup jobs for different sources and/or destinations? Can I exclude some files from the backup process by specifying one or more file extensions or subfolder names? Will this allow me to keep more than one version of files with specified extensions, or from specific subfolders, or perhaps everything within a given backup job?

I use a program from many years ago that does all I need very quickly when it runs, but it has a steep learning curve and I don't know if it works with Win 10. Willing to try Backup-Tube, thanks!

To your questions: The with the name is for me in English not so easy to explain. The backup is just like a tube in one direction or the other.

Of course, several backup jobs can be created. In principle, there is no restriction on the number.
Otherwise, the software is simple and clear. You can select the start and destination directory and the mode (manual or automatic, backup or synchronization). Everything else is done in the background.

Kenneth Bates I have been waiting for this but, on downloading, I found that the latest version of M.S. Edge blocked the program. The reason being that it could open the door for malware.

Do you have any comment to make about this?

Heidi-Ann Kennedy-Fourkiller @Ken Anytime you run a program that can sync / connect to other computers you have that possibility. That is what a good firewall and an AV / AM is for. . . not MS Edge to decide. Download with another browser or a download MGR.

Kenneth Bates Thanks for the comment. I went back to BDJ and tried to download again using the link there but I got a reply saying that I had already bought it once. Then I went to my downloads and found that they had all been cancelled. Microsoft must be on steroids or double time for Sundays!
Shall be trying again, using the download facility which usually appears along with the acknowledgment of order.

John User I have tried a number of Abylon programs and generally they are useful excellent programs. I did have a few problems getting this one as my AV software kept rejecting the download/install so I had to disable the AV. Then, it would not accept the Name and Key, but I used the one given above and it activated. However, when I tried to use the desktop icon to start the program it would not start. Restarting my computer solved that problem and now everything seems to be working. Another useful program from Abylon. Thank you.
