Alan I have a couple questions.
Do I install software on my laptop for example that is running in the background and checking the emails?? or does that happen on your servers?

We definitely love to help people who are on the go, and generally anyone who has a busy day--our calendar alerts (notifying you when someone you're meeting with sends a message beforehand) are probably are most popular feature, and that takes no effort to setup!

AwayFind does all its work on the server-side. While you can install a plugin for Outlook or Gmail to make it easier to create rules for when to get notified, your computer does not need to be on for our alerts to be active. That's actually the beauty of our product--whether you're away or offline, we'll find you when a timely message comes your way.

So, to be clear, nothing runs in the background on your computer. Everything is triggered by our server. You don't need to install anything on your computer for AwayFind to send you alerts.

Jared Goralnick JesusInsideMe, this promotion is for the Pro plan. The Pro plan is our most popular plan. Unlike the Personal Plan it lets you check multiple email accounts, it lets you use addresses that aren't just gmail.com/yahoo.com, and it can notify you by voice.

Our Max plan is mostly used by businesses who have multiple people managing a single mailbox, like a support team.

And no, we don't support POP3. We do support Exchange and IMAP.

E. Douglas Jensen I am always interested in email management software. But after studying your descriptions, I can't see how to use it. I get over 300 emails/day, almost all from forums/lists/etc., very rarely from a person I know or work with. I delete perhaps 250 of them after looking at/reading them, not automatically because I want to know what they say, and manually file the rest in about 40 PSTs dedicated to each defined source or topic. I can't create Outlook/Exchange rules to do that because it exceeds the number of rules allowed. I can't let the emails just keep filling up my Inbox because even with categories etc. I lose track of some eventually and the number of emails (Inbox is currently at about 30,000 messages) reaches my quota and my price goes up. In all my archive PSTs I have over 250,000 emails. BTW I get about 100-200 spam emails a day, which I have to scan in their folder to catch false positives. Sigh.
