Robert User I suspect this product can tell me if a domain is not registered at all, because it will have a code indicating the domain does not exist. I suspect it will also detect re-directs of a URL. Great, but what about cases where the URL is a valid one but not what was originally linked to?

As a web developer, very often I find I have linked to domains that are no longer registered to the owner of the website I originally linked to. Sometimes these sites advertise the domain name for sale, or have other advertising content, and sometimes even make an attempt to appear to offer the same types of services, however the links it offers are actually advertising links, intending on taking advantage of the original website's good name. Sometimes these new domain name registrees have content that I would not want to link to at all from a family-oriented site. So, if a domain name is dropped by its registree, and another company registers the domain, can this product give me a "heads-up" about the change?
Here is an example of original domain name loss:
MultiFind Pro sold by Bitsdujour in the past on URL http://www.bitsdujour.com...ifind-pro/ has a link to the developer's website at http://www.midlinesoft.com/multifindpro, however that URL is obviously not for the MultiFind Pro product.

Also, can the product check its results with a previous record of results (using the last saved report or CSV)?

Finally, do you have any suggestions on tools or method to collect all of the external URLs from a website (using localhost)?

Alexander User Robert,thanks for your interest.
No,it can;t check 'whois' records,really it just sends http request to url and recieves response headers.
You can save report,than reload report do some filtering (for 404 pages for example). Than right click and choose "run in another instance". This will open new instance of the application and let you re-check urls you need. Than its up to you to analyze both reports (you can export csv and use any spredsheet to compare values,or whathever you need)

When I click on the license, I am prompted to buy the program again. Do I need to download the full program or is it possible to enter registration info in the trial version ?

Staley A few questions:
1) Are licenses per user or per machine. How many machines can the license be used on? (e.g. 1 license can be installed on 1 desktop and 1 laptop or 1 user license as be install on multiple computers as long as they are used at the same time, etc)

2) How do you access the registered version of the installers for future versions?

3) Is the portable version available for registered users?

Alexander User Well there is really no strict policy on that..
If there will be one user than he or she can use it on all machines he or she has.
If there will be ocassional another users than one copy is enough too. If it is bought with the idea to be used by many people than it would be nice if everyone bought one copy. Having said that i have no means to track how many people use it or on how many machines.
2. Download will be available on the same link as it is now,or you can email me directly and ask for support etc.
3. It is portable in the sense that once installed you can copy its folder on a usb drive and run it from there

Lupke Brother Do I need to unblock Fast URL checker in my Anti Virus software to work?

Alexander User Sometimes Win needs to be rebooted aftert installation.
If you noticed that AV is blocking it than yes,you have to whitelist it somehow depending on AV ,same goes for windows firewall

Constantin Florea @Roger McKeon, I see you did purchase the product, so I just sent you the direct URL for the unlocked installer of the product. Please uninstall the version you have now and install the application using this unlocked installer which should not ask you for the key.
