What are people saying about Gridinsoft Anti-Malware

Serious Noize I tried to activate the 6 month trial but it said "Email was already used". Perhaps I have tried this software in the past and forgot about it, but in the fine print it does say "This promotion can be used to upgrade or extend an existing license.".

How should I proceed?

Constantin Florea @Serious Noize, I just contacted the vendor regarding the issue you mentioned.

D J Same issue as Serious Noize. Had to use an alternate e-mail account to get it installed. Seems like the publishers only want to allow one and only one free 6 month license per person regardless of what the Fine Print says.

Serious Noize D J, I considered using an alternate email, but that would involve creating an email address that I will never use again which is something I don't want to do, I wanted to try the product because I was interested in it and if it was good I would consider purchasing it later. I think their free trial said something like 6 days which is ridiculously short. I think I might have tried this a while back, but considering all the issue's I have had over the last couple years with Windows 10 updates and having to reinstall a few times I don't remember even trying it.

Thing is, if there are going to be so many hoops you have to go through just to get it activated I think I will pass on it. For a software company to boast that there are updates every 1 hour you would think that promotions would not be such an issue as this one obviously is. Meaning, I still don't know if their software is any good or not and I guess I never will.
