Bryan User So this is older version of the product with a price evaluation of higher than the newer? ( HDR projects 4 professional is $198, HDR3 Professional is being valued at $289 ). I see the top of the comments say "The fine print says 'Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for the lifetime of the product.'", but that was in 2015. Now the fine print reads "Upgrades to future versions of the software will require additional payment". Offer seems shady to me. I understand $20 may be a value for the older version, but the fact that it is an older version and the 93% off is based on a value that exceeds the new version seems deceptive, unless these details are better disclosed..

David H (Seattle) This seems like a reasonable deal, and a sales model like I've seen here and elsewhere before - sell the highly-capable previous version here, get people interested, and those who find it a workhorse can then knowingly upgrade for a fee. I've done such an upgrade numerous times, and skipped others. Seems like a great way to take a step up from consumer-level HDR processing without diving in mortgage-first. In for one, thanks for the offer!

D Rogers I own this and other products by this German company Franzis. The bottom line is that the products are pretty darn good, and I use them. Compared to photomatrix which costs 4 times this promo,HDR projects 3 does the same thing, actually better in some instances.
