Tom Colvin I'm intriigued by this software, but I have some questions.

From what I read in the user manual, it appears that one can instantly and seamlessly switch between webcam & desktop stream at any time during a live stream. Is this true?

Is it possible to run two instances of 1AVStreamer simultaneously -- for example, a large size desktop view, with a smaller webcam view also on screen?

And I presume, one could also open Yahoo Messenger, or even Skype, to introduce live interaction with viewers?

And finally, can you direct me to a few sites where the software is running so that I can see it in action?

Alex Ferri It is possible to switch from one source to another, the live stream will stop for a few seconds and then reestablish with the new source.

There can not be two instances running simultaneously but support for multiple sources will be provided in the future.

1AVStreamer broadcasts in the format mms so it is not designed for messenger or skype, it is designed for high quality audio video broadcast.

Tom Colvin Thanks for the site reference. Went there and found 2 videos that are almost thumbnail size? Were they done via your program? If so, I'm guessing they were somehow reduced in size from the original streamed video.

Do you mean that AVStreamer can not pick up the sound from Skype as an audio source?

While I'm intrigued by your product, it looks like I should wait until your next version. Good luck with your continued development.

Alex Ferri The BigE fair is not going on today. The link was sent to show 1AVStreamer is a very reliable program that is used even for large events.

This is a live real-time TV channel in Greece from one of our clients, Skaisat:

As you can see the broadcast is done inside a page created and uploaded automatically by 1AVStreamer.

William Tattors Hello community, considering this product but noticed it is from Brazil. Can anyone comment on if it might be bloated with any spy or adware or negatives? I noticed that if downloading from cnet, a bundled toolbar is pushed. Otherwise, I am most tempted to give it a whirl, especially at this discount and liberal user rights.

Alex Ferri The package is bundled but you can opt out of the offered toolbar. Otherwise 1AVStreamer is a great product. A lot of people say 1AVStreamer is the easiest way to do live broadcasting over the Internet.

Nico Westerdale William, CNet has recently started bundling a toolbar with all their installers by default, so if you're seeing additional requests to install software when you download from that site it may not be from the developer.

William Tattors Why would the babylon toolbar be bundled? I see many references such as; "Babylon Toolbar is a useless toolbar that gets installed by other software, for instance ......", then lots of hits on how to remove...

Alex Ferri As I mentioned earlier. No bundle gets installed unless agreed upon. That was imperative when the bundle was decided to be included. Users can always opt out.

Travis Bester Hi thks for the replies appreciate it. I am trying to stream / broadcast an event at work live (using a Web Cam). The idea is to embed the steam in the events webpage (all of which is working 100%). When I tested the stream I could only get 10 users viewing the stream at once (via the events website), the 11th user could not connect to the stream..Should I allocate more bandwidth or should I reduce the quality of the stream?? thks again.

Alex Ferri First reduce the quality of the broadcast meaning lower the bit-rate of the encoder. That should already allow for many more users. And if you can allocate more bandwidth then do it as well.

Stephen Brown I've been trying to get the registration key all day, each time I apply for the key after entering my email it says wait...

Nothing else haapes, it just hangs for hours.

Edit: I tried the offline method, giving my email, last night, but still haven't received a registration code.

RichU I go directly to the control panel, select 1AVstreamer, select send key to email.
Then I enter password and captcha in the next dialog. But then the dialog tells my "invalid footprint". There is nothing in the footprint field?????
I cannot get past this point. ????

Alex Ferri The process seems confusing but it isn't. Install the software on the target PCs and request the KEY from inside the program.

You can request keys from inside the program like in this video demonstration:

eric User Starts install but then says insert the "organizer & filing cabinet" disk & click OK. Had same problem with earlier giveaway of this program. Says feature is on Cd or other removable disk. Google search does not inform. Any suggestions to resolve this problem.

Elliot Sloane I've used this company's software before, with reasonable success. Today's problems are hilarious, though. First, Chrome Browser blocks the direct download of .exe files without any message. Therefore, you can click on the download as many times as you want, and nothing happens! OK, so you CAN use Edge to launch the download, but their website must be slammed, broken, or crippled. Downloading their "High QoS" product proceeds at a "Broken QoS" speed, like 5kb/sec! Really pretty funny. If this is any indication of the response this video streaming software offers, well, it won't be very usable, IMHO.

Jerry Voletto Can't get onto website. Circle spins and spins. Then, "no site available". Tried this on different browser with same results.
And, the promo says nothing about compatible with Windows 10/11.
