Robert Cartmell Jeff - NO this is not UK suitable, one of the early questions is 'which state are you resident' and you can't proceed without selecting one from list.

John - Pretty sure you can produce as many wills as you require, this was how earlier versions worked.

Bruce User Comments: This is my message to NOLO since they do not seem to have a telephone number:
This is a repeat request. I understand that my purchase of Quicken Willmaker Plus (from Individual Software via Cleverbridge) comes with a year of Online Living Trust. I have registered the product but cannot open Online Living Trust because Nolo does not recognize any password that I put in NOR despite repated requests haveyou sent me another when requested.

Can you send me a way to set a password so that I can use Online Living Trust?

Not hearing from Nolo I sent this request to Individual Software. They gave the same instructions as Nolo did and then said that everything is up to Nolo. SO, I guess that Living Trust in unusable?

John Hood Most of the web sites are selling this software for around the same price = $30 bucks give or take a few cents. However, there is one major difference, they are also offering The 2016 Edition Book.

John Hood Second question: Does WillMaker have sections pertaining to each individual State. State laws differ considerably - I live in Virginia and want to create with conditions that meet or do not conflict with VA State law.

You have a CD version on the website. Is that available here? They are the same cost. Unless there is shipping? Is there?

The website of Nolo says you have a 40% coupon PRES40 (if I can't get the CD version here.) However, it does not work, do you know the reason?

Peter Laszlo Please advise as to which legal jurisdiction(s) are covered. For example the U.S. legal format does not comply with the English-Australian legal systems.
I specifically want to know if the templates conform to Australian and E.U. legal systems.

So the answer would be no.

Louis H I see where the 2918 Version is released on the NOLO site. Will we still need to send you a proof of purchase for getting it, or will you now automatically provide the new edition? (A little bit nit-picking here, since you already answered my earlier question, but I was expecting the new version to be at least two months away, not already out.)

The 2018 version was already out at the time this was written, but not yet on the Vendor's site. It was posted there within the 90 day period it speaks of.

I made my request - with Proof of Purchase - and was totally ignored.

Please consider my experience when you think about doing business with this vendor.

My suggestion to others remains. I am not asking anyone to not use this vendor, but I am suggesting you be aware that not everyone who was their previous customer is happy with them.

Louis H Update to my negative comments.....

While I would prefer to move on, save face, say nothing, and make this out to be the fault of the Vendor, I accept fault for sending my request last October to the wrong department of Individual Software and not pursuing what was perceived by me to be a lack of response, in a more appropriate manner.

My apologies to the support department at Individual Software.

They have provided me with the updated version of the software.

Jo Ann Rice Just a heads up that if I hadn't known that Individual software had Mac versions of some of their software this would have been a lost sale. Both the Email newsletters and this advertisement say PC and nothing about Mac anywhere until you see the message at the bottom for what it includes on this page.

Might want to fix that so you get more Mac sales so people with Mac's will know it's actually available to them.

I have noticed this similar issue on quite a few of the products on here at times that don't include the Mac in the description titles, but they are actually available for it and the sale is for it too. Potential money lost there if people are anything like me I check the email newsletter and scan to see what's for Mac and if nothing shows that it is I trash it and move on. This one just happened to catch my eye and you got a sale. :)

Stephen Kreyling My renewal cost is $59, so I would just wait for a deal on the 2019. Not a good upgrade cost even with the break you getting here. Also, you need to think about support, version 2017 is no longer supported, not sure on how long this version will be supported.

SKW Can this 2021 version be installed and used on Windows 7? The specs above indicate that it does run on Windows 7, yet Nolo's tech support page indicates that "WillMaker does not support Windows 7 after version 2020."

Please confirm that this version can be run on Windows 7 (EOL is 2023 for those who purchase on-going updates). If it can't, then you might want to update the platforms above. Many thanks!

Update (7/7): It's too bad there's been no response. As it turns out, 2021 will *not* run on Windows 7, so this vendor's information is incorrect.

It's interesting that at that link, 3 paragraphs below where it states that Windows 7 *isn't* supported, it gives instructions on resolving update problems when using Windows XP SP2/3...thus implying that Windows XP SP2/3 *is* supported, even though it's close to a decade older than Windows 7.
