RQ Search and Replace is an extremely easy-to-use text replacement application for Windows. It facilitates batch text search and replacement in folders, subfolders, MS Word (2000 or later) documents, and RTF files.
So what kind of things can RQ Search and Replace... well... search and replace? For starters, it can parse multi-string text blocks, entire words, "enclosed" blocks, HTML tags and attributes, and wildcards in MS Word documents.
RQ Search and Replace stores all of your search and replacement patterns in a string grid. You can create custom patterns with the built-in text editor and quickly drag-n-drop those patterns directly into the string grid for quick retrieval. Other features allow you to create an index file list, to convert text files into HTML (complete with the syntactic highlighting for sources files), and to quickly delete zero-size files.
