Noggin The Nog An interesting product. What a pity that the prepayments for online text recognition time out, and indeed do so so quickly. This will not appeal to the occasional user. I refer to the product's website, where it says:
Prepaid +100 pages package is valid for 90 days from activation and 1 year from purchase.

Adi Abir Ordered the product. Got an activation key. Entered it. Got a confirmation. Tried recognizing a document. Received an error message: 'You need a recognition Key. Activate the recognition key and get additional pages for recognition'.

In the 'Features' section you state that the the user can 'Turn a hardcopy document into a Microsoft Word file for editing'. You didn't state that this would require additional payment.

How can I use the recognition option offered in this promotion?

This is misleading and should be corrected.

Peter Mundy Downloaded setup file and ran it - this it did, the status bar reaching the far right, but it never actually finished "installing" - very, very frustrating.
I reran the install - same problem.
Will retry downloading and installing but I don't think it works properly.
I run latest version of Win 10.

Stephen Brown installed the software, applied for the free key, said I have to activate the software within 2 days. . Everytime I try to activate it it it says invalid activation key?????

Peter Mundy The problem is that the installation status bar reaches the extreme right and then just hangs giving the user absolutely no indication of what is happening, and stays that way.

I even went away and made a cup of coffee and get a biscuit, coming back to what appeared to be that same hung screen.

Finally I did get the program installed but it took quite some time and a couple of installs.

Valentine User Stephen, let's check that you activate the program correctly.
Run the program and click the Help tab. Click the "Activate ScanPapyrus" button.
Then copy and paste in the Registration Name field your name, and in the field serial number the serial number.

Then click the Activate button.
You should receive a successful registration message.

Stephen Brown Hi Valentine User; i returned to the software today, and remembered that i'd previously received this from shareware on Sale, so searched for the activation code, inputted the code I received from shareware on sale then checked the help and saw that it was registered to shareware on Sale. That was probably the issue in the first place, i.e. it was already registered. Thanks for your reply. All sorted now. Thank you for the opportunity to try this software. appreciated.

Linton User Well I've tried 5 or 6 times now today to activate this program (still less than 48 hours since having purchased it) and each time it has come up with a message stating that 'The Promo Code is not Active'.

So... thus far as just a 'non activated' version of the program, this has turned out to be utterly useless to me!

Very disappointed!!!
