Alex Ferri Sorry. The answer above is incorrect. The software only re-encodes when the video file format is not mp4, mov, or mpeg.

Praveen I'm able to launch the trial version, load and play a video. But I haven't been able to get the splitting and trimming functions to work. Also, the timeline view is completely black after loading & playing a video.

Justin Porter this comes as a .dmg file, when opened does not have an instalation file.
When I went to website it was offline in order to down load!
How do I get an instalation file?

Doug Lietz Since this software is able to do precise cuts with millisecond accuracy, that must mean KeyFrame reference points are not being used to establish the actual cut points. Am I correct?

If this is true, when I want to chop up a longer video into individual short clips, do the output files need to be fully re-rendered? Or... is the software able to just re-render the leading and trailing "orphaned" frames that actually require re-rendering?

I have definitely been looking for software that can do cuts with millisecond accuracy. But for the sake of processing speed, it would be really nice if the individually clipped output files don't need to be fully re-rendered each time.

Hopefully I described all that in a way that makes sense.

BlackOpz Pure Trash. On my 4K display it wont update the display as I drag the timeline. Chokes on 4K video and "millisecond" cuts are a JOKE. You click to position the pointer then you CANT even move it with the arrow keys to be precise. CANT zoom/reduce the video timeline. Gave up on 4K (not happening). Its choking on 1080p (still unusable). Gonna try 720 just as a joke then UNINSTALL.

VERDICT: Past Its Prime. Might have been good for LOW RESOLUTION Video but unusable for even a Youtuber. HARD PASS. Uninstalling...

BlackOpz @SKY - I **BOUGHT** the Windows Version so it exists. So BAD I'm tempted to do a chargeback ($<10 so I'll let it slide). Only good thing is that it made me transfer my Bandicut license to my current computer and it works FLAWLESSLY (didn't last time I used it). My WORST BitsDuJour Purchase... (Audials Movie & Easy Data Transform are HITS that are worth this cheap MISS)

Adam Bryan Yeah, I've recieved no key either - so something is amiss . . .> Spotted that keys an be recieved through the control panelso I clicked the link and had to set a password (even though I already had one from a previous software giveaway) and . . . an activation link was sent to my email . . . well it was supposedly - I'm now waiting on two emails., and yes I've been checking my Spam folder. <

Adam Bryan @bob trout: You got me . . . although (now I've managed to get to the Control Panel) I believe I've registered successfully a different piece of software past the expiration date so based upon that I assume it's an indication of when the free updates will expire.

Incidently the email with my activation link was recieved although it took a while and did end up in my spam folder, still no email with the license code but it was in the Control Panel (thankfully).

Hopefully Alex Ferri will shed some light on the expiration date issue.

The "email" address should read SALES@PCWINSOFT.COM. I also misread the last message and had to go to the beginning messages to get the right EMAIL address; not the website.

Chuck User I decided to try again. I can't get the software to work at all. When I grab the lower right corner to change the size of the window it will expand horizontally but not vertically. When I try to open it up to full screen it goes to the upper left corner of the screen.When I load a video for editing it won't play and I can't do any editing what so ever. I tried on another computer and same thing. Both machines are Win 11 so I don't know what's up. I'd gladly pay for this if it worked. Oh well it was a nice idea.
